Snapplify is a media technology company focusing on content distribution and mobile publishing in higher education/academic spaces. The bulk of its brand-building and account management activity takes place in South Africa, with a smaller team covering East Africa from Kenya.
The business needed help expanding to developing markets across the EMEA region, and its reach to private schools in these markets. We reached out to the entire market, aided by Snapplify’s sterling reputation. The most extensive deal introduction was achieved through this outreach and facilitated through a Texan holding company. In Kenya, we contacted 2 213 private schools and generated business from historical client leads. This data was compromised, and we manually cleaned and re-organized the architecture for the Snapplify sales team
Over 15 months, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Mauritius, and the UAE were identified and targeted for expansion. Since Mauritian schools operate under the government, we would need to find points of entry at the Ministry of Education and raise sufficient interest to enable our client access to the market. We secured a face-to-face meeting in Mauritius.
